Another week...

I just got done working 7 days straight. Tuesday-Thursday were in Phoenix, then we drove back to Tucson for me to work there Friday, then drove back to Phoenix for me to work Saturday-Monday. Now I'm back in Tucson working Wednesday and Friday. My next possible start date at the VA (I can only start on the first day of each pay period, so every 2 weeks) is Monday. However, now that it's Tuesday night, chances are not looking good that it will be Monday. I did hear from the VA yesterday saying that HR was "VERY CLOSE, WHOO HOO", so that's got to be a good sign right? Last week I was telling that Daved that had I not gotten an EKG and blood drawn 3 weeks ago, I may be starting to feel like I had made this whole job up. I swear I didn't! Insurance-wise, as long as I can start by October 15, we won't have to pay for interim coverage from Daved's old job. I really hope I don't have to wait that long though. My brain is starting to atrophy from the lack of critical thinking skills that are required working in the retail environment (sorry retail people). My only challenge is keeping up with the flow, but I'm pretty sure I've only touched on about 10% of my education in 2 months of being a pharmacist. I'm ready to think again!!! Please oh please let me start soon!!
